The Local Place Plan is a community led initiative, managed by the Community Council, designed to help support and influence public services and private investment in our area. The community was consulted on it's needs during 2024 and the plan has been recently published and approved by The Highland Council.
The outline aims of the plan are to :
Support Community Action
Improve Public Services
Build Consensus
The aim is to use the plan as a basis for decisions on the future requirements of our community and work with organisations such as The Highland Council, Fort Augustus and Glenmoriston Community Company, Glenmoriston Hall Community Association and the West Glenmoriston Hub to ensure there is a voice from every part of the Council area.
